Cambial produces both static and interactive infographics and multimedia content for clients wishing to engage with audiences in new, dynamic avenues. These products in recent time have proved to possess a particularly strong and impactful reach with users and within the media. Studies of the analytics from such campaigns suggest a highly successful correlation between developing meaningful relationship with audiences and the content provided by the thought leader or market influencer.

Cambial actively develops and maintains relationships with key individuals from the media and facilitates their understanding of a client. The activities include such aspects as the planning and execution of media events including press conferences, panel discussions, media briefings, one-on-one interviews, lunches/breakfasts,  preparation and placement of press releases including photography requirements, compilation of media kits and liaison with print and electronic media. We identify, research and write stories for strategic vertical media placement.

We develop and execute online marketing strategies to build positive online reputations across all social and digital media. This includes monitoring for negative social media mentions, developing a social media crisis response plan, risk mitigation, situation evaluation and measurement. Ours is a two-pronged strategy involving high-end intellectual input and lower-end mechanical input. We specifically develop content for digital and social media based on our deep knowledge and understanding on the client and the industry in which the client operates. Cambial identifies internal communication requirements, develops an internal communication strategy, formulates messages, identifies tools and tactics for reaching internal stakeholders, compiles an action plan for implementation and monitors and evaluates the results. Internal communication tools may include events, written communications such as newsletters and electronic media such as emails and videos. Our services include copywriting, design and idea generation.

Communications Programme – Strategic development and Tactical  execution
We formulate a communications and corporate reputation management programme. This includes defining objectives and identifying resources as well as designing action plans needed to meet objectives for internal and external communications. We conduct a situation analysis, defining communications objectives and goals, identifying the target market(s), formulating key messages and establishing a suitable communication mix, including traditional and new media, promotions, events and other communications channels. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation is undertaken, which provides feedback to enable modifications as necessary.

Working closely with the client service department, our writers will ensure the messaging is consistent, through the holistic approach we take with clients. The service encompasses interviewing, copywriting, photography, layout and production. We assist in the preparation of presentations and coach clients where necessary. Promotional gifts and incentives are sourced and branded in accordance with the client’s profile and budget.

Investor Relations and Financial Communications
Cambial raises the profile of a company, with the specific aim of targeting the investment community. We liaise with existing and prospective shareholders, investment analysts, the media and other key role players through road-shows, presentations, site visits and other interactions. This includes presentations to the Investment Analyst Society as well as conferences and announcements based on JSE requirements. We devise a programme according to client needs such as listings, year-end results, annual reports and investor relations. We are also able to build the image of a company prior to a new listing as well as post listing. We are also able to generate interest in subsidiaries prior to a sale. This service includes the preparation of written material such as annual reports, company brochures, prospectuses and launch documents, as well as assistance in the preparation of presentations. The benefits of good investor relations include defence against a possible takeover, reduced funding costs and the ability to broaden the shareholder base.
